We’re pleased to share that The Links, our landmark residential development in West Kirby, has been named a finalist in the Residential Development category at the Northern Design Awards 2026.

Set within the Meols Drive Conservation Area, overlooking Royal Liverpool Golf Course, The Links is a collection of just ten individually designed apartments, created with a clear ambition: to deliver something distinctive, carefully considered and built to stand the test of time.

Working alongside architects Falconer Chester Hall and our experienced construction partners, we set out to create a building that would complement the area’s established architectural character while confidently introducing something new.

From the carefully selected materials and intricate exterior detailing to the generous interiors and sheltered balconies, the development reflects years of experience, thoughtful design decisions and a shared commitment to quality.

It hasn’t always been the simplest project to deliver. Some of the architectural features demanded specialist craftsmanship, considerable patience and a willingness to take the more challenging route to achieve the finish we wanted. Seeing the completed building, and now receiving this recognition, makes those decisions particularly rewarding.

For us, being named a finalist is also an opportunity to recognise the architects, contractors, craftspeople and wider team whose expertise and commitment have helped bring The Links to life.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to celebrating alongside fellow finalists on Thursday 12 November, when the Northern Design Awards will begin with a reception at Chester Town Hall, followed by the winners’ announcement at Chester Cathedral.

Whatever the outcome, it’s a lovely moment to reflect on a project that has meant a great deal to everyone involved.
