A house is probably the most expensive purchase you will ever make – and so buying a home for the first time can be as daunting as it is exciting. Here at Blueoak, we have helped many people to successfully purchase their first home, so we created this guide to help other first-time buyers. Of course, our friendly and experienced Sales Advisors will also be on hand to help you every step of the way.
Review the floor plans, brochure and specification and choose your preferred plot.
Once you have found your perfect Blueoak home, we will ask for a reservation deposit to secure it until the exchange of contracts deadline.
Arrange a mortgage to cover the cost of your new Blueoak home. After completing the required paperwork, your solicitor will facilitate the exchange of contracts and deposit payment.
Appoint a solicitor or conveyancer to deal with the legal side of your purchase. Make them aware of the exchange of contracts deadline and give them a copy of your reservation form containing the full purchase details of your new Blueoak home.
At this point, you will be ready to exchange contracts and pay the deposit. Once we have had confirmation of payment from our solicitors, we will hand over the keys to your Blueoak home.
The build is complete and its time for you to move in and enjoy your beautiful Blueoak home.
