What is your reservation fee and when do we exchange contracts?

The reservation fee is dependent on the scheme. If the purchase is made under the Help to Buy scheme, then the fee is £500. The reservation period is 6 weeks. For more information on purchasing a Blueoak home, please visit our Buying Off Plan Guide.

Can you recommend a solicitor or mortgage broker?

Yes, we can put you in contact with solicitors and/or mortgage brokers. Please contact our sales team on 01244 310 050.

Will we have an opportunity to pick a plot before its released onto the market?

Yes we can consider an early bird arrangement. There will be a small holding fee depending on the scheme.

Do you provide a home demonstration before we move in?

Yes, we will provide a full demonstrate between two and three days before completion.

Can we view our new home before completion?

Our buyers are invited to view their new home within 14 days of completion.

Can we choose our own kitchen and tiling?

This depends on the point at which you make a reservation. However, if you reserve off-plan then yes you will have the opportunity to customise your home. For information about reserving off plan, please view our guide to buying off-plan.

What build warranty do you provide?

The build warranty provided depends on the development in question for instance whether it is an office to residential conversion or whether it is a new build scheme. Please speak to our sales team for specific details.

What is buying off-plan?

Simply put, buying off-plan means purchasing your home before the construction is complete. There are many benefits to buying this way. For example, there is no upward chain of buyers and sellers to delay your purchase or cause it to fall through. For more information, read our Buying Off-Plan Guide.

What is the purchase price?

Each development, home and apartment is priced separately. We release the price list shortly before a property launch event. To hear the latest updates on a particular development, you can sign up for email updates.

Can I arrange a viewing?

Viewings can be arranged once our show apartments are ready. More than 60% of our homes and apartments are sold-off plan through 3D video walkthroughs.

Do you do Part Exchange?

We will consider Part Exchange or assisted schemes depending on the scheme, property value and location. If you have a question about a particular development, please call us on 01244 310 050.

Are there any ground rent fees and what is the service charge (leasehold property only)?

If the tenure of a scheme is Leasehold then there will be a ground rent and service charge, this will be verified by our solicitors at the point of sale.
