Only the Best for Blueoak First Time Buyers

Early in May 2018, first-time buyers James Crossley and Lisa Gornell moved into an apartment on the top floor of our luxury scheme, Bridgewater House. They had previously been renting a home just outside of Manchester City Centre but the transport links were poor which meant it was difficult for them to get out and enjoy the nightlife that Manchester has to offer.

James and Lisa viewed multiple houses and apartments in a variety of areas but ultimately it was the location and specification of Bridgewater House that attracted them to their apartment. James said, “Bridgewater House ticked every box. There are not many buildings out there with as high a spec as a Blueoak property.”

He continued, “The location is brilliant. Outside Bridgewater House, there is a tram stop. You can get straight to the city centre in 25 minutes and Altrincham in less than 5 minutes”. James and Lisa also make use of the secure parking available at Bridgewater House. They have one parking space which is under the building and out of the bad weather. The couple also commented that the road links are excellent. It takes James five minutes (with traffic) to get onto the M60 and it takes Lisa ten minutes (with traffic) to get onto the M56.

The couple’s favourite room in their new apartment is the open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. The large windows mean that they do not need to have lights on in the day and the large freestanding breakfast bar in the kitchen acts as a central hub and means there is plenty of space for entertaining. James and Lisa also love the view they have overlooking the beautiful fir trees outside the apartment scheme and with the apartment’s west facing aspect, they have been enjoying watching the spectacular summer sunsets.

James told Blueoak, “At this point in my life, Bridgewater House is completely ideal. I was aware of Blueoak Estates and their high spec properties because I used to work in Chester. After moving to Manchester, I saw an advert for Bridgewater House in a magazine, organised a viewing and reserved it straight away. The Help to Buy scheme meant that the apartment was within our budget and within an hour of completion, I had the keys to the apartment. I would definitely recommend Blueoak Estates, they were a pleasure to deal with.”
