Blueoak Estates is proud to be supporting the Hive 100 campaign, donating £1,000 in a bid to help bridge funding cuts at the Wirral based children’s charity.

The objective is to fill the £100,000 deficit caused by funding cuts at the Hive Youth Zone, asking businesses to each donate £1,000. 

The campaign has raised £60,000 so far with Blueoak the latest business to make the pledge.

Iain MacLean, Managing Director of Blueoak Estates commented: “The Hive is an incredibly important charity that provides so much support to so many young people throughout Wirral. Funding cuts continue to have a devastating effect on the third sector and as a local business, we are keen to help through donations to brilliant campaigns such as this.”

With up to one in three children living in poverty in some parts of the Wirral, The Hive exists to equip young people with the skills and knowledge to help them create a brighter future for themselves.
